Mukund G. Shah, M.D.

Dr. Shah’s clinical expertise is in lung, colon, breast, lymphoma, prostate, and gynecological cancers. He has practiced for over 22 years here in the Antelope Valley, and is on active medical staff at Antelope Valley Hospital and Lancaster Community Hospital. He previously served as Chief of Staff at Antelope Valley Hospital and has served on many of their committees. Dr. Shah has held numerous positions at our local American Cancer Society Chapter, including Ambassador of the year and President. He is very active in the community, speaking on topics ranging from cancer prevention, to cancer treatment options. He is also a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
Dr. Shah attended B.J. School of Medicine in India, for his medical education, and he did his internship at Euclid General Hospital in Euclid, Ohio. His residency was done at Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn, Illinois in the Department of Internal Medicine. He completed his fellowship in Oncology at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Shah is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, subspecialty in Medical Oncology.

Dr. Shamasunder’s clinical expertise in Hematology (blood disorders) is anemia, leukopedia, coagulation disorders, platelot disorders, and leukemia), and in Oncology, he specializes in lung, breast, colon, lymphoma, gynecological and prostate cancers. He has practiced for over 22 years here in the Antelope Valley, and is on active medical staff at Antelope Valley Hospital and Lancaster Community Hospital. Dr. Shamasunder has held numerous positions on the Medical Staff at Antelope Valley Hospital, including Vice Chief of Staff, Chairman of Credential Committee and Chairman of Cancer Committee. He is very active in the community, speaking on topics ranging from cancer prevention, cancer treatment options to treatment of blood disorders. He is also a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and American Society of Hematology.

Dr. Miller’s clinical expertise in Hematology (blood disorders) is leukemia, coagulation disorders, anemia, platelet disorders, and white blood cell disorders. In Oncology, Dr. Miller specializes in breast, lung, colon, prostate, and lymphoma cancers. He has practiced for over 3 years here in the Antelope Valley, and is on active medical staff at Antelope Valley Hospital and Lancaster Community Hospital, and on courtesy staff at High Desert Hospital. Dr. Miller has held various faculty positions at the University of California, Los Angeles., Martin Luther King Hospital, Columbia University and at Drew University. He is also a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and American Society of Hematology.
Dr. Miller attended Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York, New York for his medical education, and did his internship and residency at Harlem Hospital in New York, New York in the Department of Internal Medicine. Following his residency, he acted as Chief Resident at Harlem Hospital through Columbia University. He completed his fellowships in Hematology/Oncology at the University of California Los Angeles. Dr. Miller is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
